The Value of Fresh
On Wednesday, September 7, 2016 we had the pleasure of visiting and touring the tomato farms at Stanislaus Food Products in Modesto, California. Executive Chef Rogelio Jacinto and our executive culinary team visited their vast tomato farms during the midst of harvesting season to witness their fresh-packing process. 100% of the tomatoes we source are from California and are packed within 2-6 hours of being harvested. Stanislaus is one of the only farms that use equipment directly from Parma, Italy, ensuring freshness and a consistent product throughout the year.
